When the hotel manager and the restaurant manager were there it was okay. Its location in the rain forest was good. The spa facilities were fine, when it was open.
Without the main staff members there it was poor. Needs a good shake-up to bring it up to the standard you would expect for the money it costs to stay there. Better staff training is needed.

Beautiful Lagoon Villa with serene views.
The mosquitoes were so bad that we all left with bites all over our bodies. The lack of sound proofing in the day spa next to the pool was unacceptable, as my kids were repeatedly shushed while trying to enjoy their time. With only one common pool area and rough trails, we reminded me of the amenities were lacking for a family-friendly experience.

beautiful surrounds and wonderful ethic
The rooms although on first appearance were nice looking it in fact had a weathered shabby appearance and made me question value for money.

Awesome location to the area which we had never tried before, consistently courteous staff, everything was nice. The room was neat and updated with beautiful view of the rainforest with an extremely comfy bed. Location: the hotel was just off the Daintree forrest, the restaurant there, and the Daintree up to Cape Tribulation.

I was captivated by the serene rainforest setting and the well-appointed Canopy Villa. The natural wooden decor harmonized beautifully with the surroundings. The sounds of nature added a soothing ambiance, perfect for relaxation.
More accessible paths for seniors would be helpful.
